小E小时候，不喜欢的职业就是老师。

被趴在门缝上的班主任可抓住过不少小动作，

但现在接触了我们EF的老师之后，小E开始对老师这份职业有了改观。

因为在EF，每个老师都是那么热情专业，独具个人魅力！

Amber的自述：

I’ll never forget stepping off the plane in China only to see one of my lovely chinese EF colleagues running towards me eagerly to help me with my bags and who greeted me kindly. This was my first experience of EF, and it has always lived up to this friendly first impression.

我永远忘不了当我踏出飞机的那一刻，我可爱的英孚同事热情地跑过来迎接我，并帮我拿包裹。这是我在英孚的个经历，给我留下了深刻的印象。

At first, teaching children and the administration required by the school was a challenge. I needed to learn all the EF procedures, and get to know all my classes. I kept calm and learnt from everything I saw and heard. I observed many other teachers at my school and asked many questions. Everyone was very supportive and helpful.

首先，用英孚的模式来教孩子学习对我是一个挑战。我需要学习整个的流程，并要了解每个班级的情况。我坚持从所见所听中学习。我观摩了很多老师的课堂，并向他们咨询了很多问题，大家都给我提了很多有用的建议。

It took me some time to learn good classroom management, but I think it comes with feeling comfortable and knowing your class. I quickly learned that the more that I set boundaries and rules for the classes, the more that the students learnt more effectively and it was a much more positive class environment. It is important to be a big kid and laugh at yourself, so I make sure to do something silly every class for the students. I now feel very in control, and experienced enough that I can handle any situation that might come up in the classroom.

课堂管理方面花了我不少的时间去学习，但我认为在对班级熟悉的过程中你会越来越适应。我很快发现给孩子树立的规矩越多，他们就会越有效地学习，而且会让课堂氛围更活跃。你本身的童心童乐也很重要，所以我在课堂上会给孩子们做一些比较犯傻、可笑的事。我现在感觉能控制住课堂上常见的一些情况。

I think it is important for students to learn English in the way that suits them best. If they like reading books in chinese, I will encourage them to read English books and use a dictionary to help them. If they love art, I will encourage them to read English comics. The more I know about the students, the more I can relate what they are learning to their own interests.

我觉得让孩子们用适合他们的方式来学习英语是重要的。如果他们喜欢阅读中文的书，我将会鼓励他们阅读英文的书本并且使用字典来帮助阅读。如果他们喜欢艺术，我将会鼓励他们阅读英语漫画书。我对学生了解越多就会越多地将他们的喜好和要学习的知识联系起来。

I found it so easy to make friends through EF and through my hobbies outside work. I feel like the staff at my school are a big family. We all work together and I really enjoy working with everyone. We often spend time outside work eating dinner, singing at KTV and playing sports. I am also lucky to have found chinese coworkers who have similar interests to me.

我发现通过英孚，通过工作之外的喜好来交朋友是非常简单的。同事之间就像一个大家庭，大家一起工作，我很喜欢和我的同事共事。工作之余，我们一起外出吃饭、唱歌、做运动。我很高兴能认识这些有趣的中国朋友，并且他们也真的对我很好。

我的生活：

I enjoy traveling, exploring, and the outdoors, as well as dancing and music. I like to incorporate these interests into my classes. I had a lot of fun teaching the students how to hula dance for Summer course promotions at our school. This was such a fun festive time, and the parents were also very excited to join in. At the EF Hangzhou annual conference I performed a dance with two other teachers and we were awarded first prize which I was very excited to receive.

我喜欢旅游，探险和运动，跳舞和音乐也是我很喜欢的。很开心能在课堂上分享这些我的兴趣爱好。我很开心能在暑假班的时候教学生如何跳夏威夷舞蹈，这就像是一个十分开心的节日欢乐时光，同时也很开心家长能一起参与进来。在杭州英孚员工大会上，我和两位老师表演了一个舞蹈节目，并且十分高兴得到了名。

I have had such a wonderful time working for EF and I am excited to come to work and teach my classes everyday. There are not many people who can say they love their work, so I feel lucky to love what I do.

我真的很开心能在英孚工作，每一天我都很期待在课堂上的时光。并不是每一个人都喜欢他们的工作，但是我很幸运，我找到了我喜爱的工作。
